Default Anyone in the Salem, Oregon area?

I just moved to Silverton (15 miles NE of Salem). Anyone know where you can leave the pavement around here? I grew up here, but the trails I used ride 20 years ago have all been shut down.

i dont know abouthe saelm are but there is a pretty decent group of us planning a weekend camping/rovering trip just south of Lacey WA on the 15-18 FEB 09 if you are interested and willing to drive a bit.

we got a couple of rovers, several jeeps, nad a few pickups already on the list to go and all are welcome - i posted the specifics on the "discovery" section. or contact me
