Default California Off Roading anyone?

I am new to the area and new to Land Rover. Purchased my LR3a fewmonths ago and am looking for a fun place to go with it relatively close. I live in San Leandro which is in the bay area, Norcal. Other than the SVRA in Hollister which the local rover dealership took us to for a recent Wheels Event, I have no idea where to go for off road fun. Any groups out there running out of Norcal want a stock LR3 taggin along or any sugestions as to where to go?

I've been to Gorman in SoCal back when I had my Jeep Liberty. Well I sold my Jeep in 2003 and got a BMW...6 yrs later, I just bought a Discovery II and will be going back. Very fun indeed!!

Call Tony at the LRRF, he can point you towards someone from the Norcal Rover Club.
