I am from Edmonton Alberta Canada. Can anyone recomend some good off road areas that LEGAL to use?

I'm from Edmonton Alberta Canada I have just purchased my first Land Rover. I'm really interested in taking out off road but I have no idea as to where some good trails are and I honestly don't want to use some of the internet sites that require you to pay them for the information.
With that said.....
If there are any other Rover owners in the Alberta area who know of some good trails and are LEGAL, big point for me, to use I would greatly appreciate it and hope if anyone wants to go out for a day trip drop me a line.
