This will be our first run up to Mettowee. I have spoken to the park owners and they seem willing to work with us on any of our club needs. The cost is $25/day per truck to wheel. Passengers are $5 kids under 7 are free. There is no membership fee like Rausch. Camping is $10 a day. They have varied trail difficulty from rock crawling to trails for stock trucks to 5' deep mud bogs. The park is 200 acres. Most of what they advertise is the mud bogs but the property is huge and i have seen video of some of the regular trails and they look great. They also have excellent ratings from Petersens and Off Road Intl.
We will be arriving on Friday and we can camp right on premesis Friday and Saturday night. It's a carry-in carry-out facility, and the camping is primitive.
It will be great to see everyone at Mettowee and I'm looking forward to exploring a new park and possibly the home of our annual event.
