So how was the decent, assuming you went up and over? I've gone down Red Cone through a few inches of snow at the top (maybe the first 60' of the decent) and couldn't stop going through my head what I'd do if I started sliding.

snow was a little over a foot deep and the tread in my tires is starting to get a low so i could only manage to get 1/3 of the way up. the trail backwards is a whole new experience though haha

I was up on Argentine and McClellan last Saturday. Snow was falling but only enough to make things white and wet. There were some left over drifts from earlier in the week, but nothing which slowed you down.
I was thinking chains would be necessary to do Red Cone in the snow.
