Default 97 Disco w/ aftermarket CD player..no sound

Just hooked up my Alpine deck and i get no sound. I hard wired the power and speaker wires into the factory harness. Anyone have any ideas?

Anyone? These are the wires I have hardwired to the harness. Power, Acc,Ground, and the speaker wires. Do I need to power the factory amp to use the front and rear speakers? I would be happy with just one set of speakers if anyone could help with that.
