Default Engine noise in speakers...

Ok, using the Metra wiring harness only took me about 5 minutes tops to install my Alpine deck. With the key turned enough to run the radio there is no interferrence at all, then I turn to on with the engine off and there is the buzz. Turn the engine over and this buzz is rediculous, and gets louder with the revs. Today I yanked the deck back out and rechecked all wiring, tried different ground points, but no matter what I did I couldnt get rid of this buzz. So, is there something I need to do say, between the battery and alternator to eliminate the feedback from the engine and vehicle electronics in my stereo?
