New Disco Build
Picked up this truck on Monday. Needs a bit of work to make it road worthy but its strong start.
2000 Discovery SE7 in blenheim silver. fully loaded including SLS and ACE. Its getting up there in mileage so I'm fully expecting it needing a rebuild in new 2 years or so. (177k)
It's rough around the edges but it should start looking pretty good once the weather warms up.
What is done:
ARB Bumper
SD Rack
Mantec front skid
Columbia gas tank skid
3" front coils
2" rovertyme SLS airbag spacer
275/65R18 falken wildpeak A/T on stock rims (With matching spare)
Extended SS brake lines
What it needs to be road worthy:
Major service (For peace of mind)
Rear sway bar links
Watts linkage bushings
Ujoints in front shaft
Fix spare tire carrier
Door lock actuators in rear passenger doors
What I plan on doing after it passes inspection:
Install my CB
Remove the dumb looking square lights from the rack
Install my Hella 500s on the rack
Get a winch
Install CDL
Install a decent head unit
Looking like it will be a decent project. I'm excited.

The weather has warmed up enough to work on the truck and here is where I am at now
It's certified and emissions tested, on the road and all my maintenance is complete. Knocked almost everything off my list already.
CB installed, new KC pro sport HIDs on the SD rack, painted the rack and ARB, got the spare tire back on the door and some other fixes here and there
Up next: Run wire for the lights and switches and detail the interior... I have the SD rack all wired up super clean.
Looking good in my opinion... tons more work to do.

Time for brake lines...
Went with copper nickel line becuase it was only $10 more and figure with all the mud and salt this thing will see I might as well get lines that wont rust.
D2 uses 3/16" line with bubble flares for those wondering
Doing both rear lines was surprisingly easy and looks nice and clean
Took the rear shocks off while I had it jacked up and tires off because my bushes are shot... now its sitting until my new bushing come in from pro comp ($2 x6 ain't bad)

Watts link bushings started giving me trouble so those are getting done tomorrow
Scored some free working door lock actuators for my rear passenger and passenger doors
Flushing my cooling system this week too
And for the obligatory pics of its current state:
This has to be the brightest truck I've owned yet
