if you had a workaround on vehicle registration, I wouldn't buy from Zak Moseur (zombie motors). Better to work through the local shop that's going to do the install.

Doing engine swaps in Cali is a complete nightmare, did it once and never again. Starting with a diesel and going to gas would not be horrid but going from a gas setup to diesel.. 😶🔫

Back in the day you could pay a little extra at a smog shop if you could find one that was willing to look the other way for visual.. Hardly any shops do that kinda thing anymore because they can get their smog license yanked.

My advice to you is to keep a disco gas or move to a county that doesn’t require smog stuff.
