Only said that because we have John Deere Gator and they call it 4x6, 2 front wheels 4 back.

Deer calls them 6x4
http://www.deere.com/en_US/products/...6x4diesel.page

4x6 is lumber, not a vehicle description.
Number of wheel positions is first, number of positions that drive is second, so 6x4.
Except it isn't that either, since all wheels are drive wheels.

The Sandtrekker Land Rover was originally 6x4, in its first incarnation. It had really poor performance off-road.

Australian Army uses 6x6 Defenders, all axles are driven. These are slowly being replaced with Merc G-Wagen's.

Well EXCUUSE me. LOL I stand corrected. 6x6. When I called for radiator from dealer, the asked 4x4 or 4x6. Now I can correct them next time I call for parts.

I'd love to have one of the Perentie 6x6's, but they are way out of my price range.
