I cant believe that nothing is mentioned about Defenders ,these are the heart and soul of land Rover.

Well, there are not many on this site that have one. When we had one, I used to go to lrrforums.com. The folks on the site were primarily from my neck of the woods, when I used to live closer to the coast. There are a bunch of Defender owners there.....

Well actually I have both 1 2009 Defender PUMA and a 96 Disco 1 v8 , we are trying to sell the defender but no takers yet ,she is in fair nic RHD model

The Defender in our family is nothing short of indestructible... It has survived being sunk twice, multiple engine oil fires and still has the original trans and engine (rebuilt transfer case) at 282,xxx miles. She's still going too!

We had a kid come into the dealer (or stealership for you non believers..) with a 94 defender 90 his dad bought for him.
He got mad at his parents, took it to Marthas Vinyard (or somewhere in that vicinity), rolled it down a hill and drove back it back to NJ with next to no oil in it.
Ya gotta love them 'D90s
