Default Child Seats

Hi everyone, I am new to the forum and I am looking into purchasing a 95-97 Land Rover Defender 90 in the US. My wife and I are also planning on having children and want to be sure that the vehicle is child friendly.

I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with child seats and Defenders. I can't imagine that the rear jump seats would be appropriate for a child seat but was wondering if the rear bench seat can accomodate it.

Please let me know. I have always wanted a Defender and I am finally able to afford it. Unfortunately, if it's not safe, it won't be practical and I'll have to wait until either I can afford a Defender as a fun toy or the current Defenders from Europe come to the US.

You will need to make your own anchors/supports to install a childs seat and if done right it will be a safe seat.
