Hello.
I am looking for a particular car for a few years and thought to share my thoughts.
Without too many introductions here is a list of things i am looking for:
- small car - not longer than 4.5 m ideally 4.3
- 4 doors.
- square square shaped
- extreme off road performance (3 button factory lockers)
- biggest thing here is big factory wheels 33 - 35 inch. So no lift required - no altering of factory settings
- low centre of gravity - so very big wheel arches - wheels go inside the body of the car not just lift the car until can fit wheels
- small engine - not bigger than 2.5 diesel maybe with a small electric 50 hp to aid acceleration and fuel. Small batteries which mosly load frim main engine while running on optimum rpm.
- fiber glass body pannels
- roll cage integrated

Those are mandatory
Ideal to have:
- air suspension with multiple heights.
- when cornering at height speeds the suspension on exterior lifts the car a little bit.
- when on lateral slopes suspension adjusts to keep car horizontal
- All around cameras plus som beneath the car to see rocks. Also this is good if you want to film your advantures just take the sim from the car when leaving.
- modular tires. So you can click in place over the street tire some off road tires like socks. Also use this sistem to attach baloons like tires in size and shape for water crossing or snow. Cornering with those should be done by having different wheel speeds

And i am sure i missed a few things..

What do you think? Would you like one?
Basically is a street legal buggy.
But with good fuel consumption. Should look like a daily driver as much as possible and maybevgave some trunk so i can present it to wife as a family car

in reality i need a short 4 door big tires legal car. Cant figure out what to do... Very dissapoinyed with the new huge discovery at 5 m
My hopes are now only with the new defender. Hopefully they will make a short wersion but still in 4 doors..

The "DEFENDER 110 2.2D ADVENTURE STATION WAGON", is my dream car, long way off being able to afford it though at a generous £45,833+VAT!!!
