Default Tricky Diagnose Oil Light at Idle.

Quick question. ( LR DISCO 2003, 98K ). Can a bad (Magnecore Cable 8 MM ) cilinder Number 7 be the cause of low Idle and therefore an Oil Light.? Cable was burned since it was not properly Installed. As soon as I Am on the gas it goes Off and have checked Oil Switch. Changed Oil .( 20w 40 ) . Did an Oil Test. I´m 95% sure it´s not Mechanical ... I think its electrical.. since I ( think ) have checked everything else. Any POINTERS please.
