Default turbo timer delay for 200 TDi

Hi,
Thought of installing a turbo timer on my LR Defender 90 – 200 TDi.
Please let me know what the delay I should set before engine shuts.
Thanks,
GMI

Default RE: turbo timer delay for 200 TDi

Nah... don't bother. Allow engine revs to drop back to idle... count to five (at most) in your head and switch off. Any likely savings you might gain in terms of the longevity of your turbo are probably outweighed by the damage you'll do to the rest of the engine idling it for a longer period than neccesary.

Cheers,
