Default Range Rover Classic Alum Sill Finish?

Trying to put my '91 and '93 back together after a good cleaning. Wondering what was the factory finish on the door sills for the classics? Polished then clear coat? Brushed? Or something else... Thanks

I wet sanded and polished a set awhile ago. I hated it. Too blingy. Not sure how to achieve a brushed look but I think that's how it would look best.

Just use a good car wax to give it a brushed look. I had a black SUV and just used a suggested car wax from Yourautomaster, it worked just fine and looked like factory painted..
