Default 3" suspension lift and tire sizes

putting a 3" suspension lift and using the factory rims. What size tires would fit good? looking to go as big as I can without causing any problems. I dont mind trimming the front but dont wanna mess with trimming the rear. any suggestions?

33" any bigger you will need to regear. Would also check out lowered shock mounts.

I would say 265/75/16's, 32" tires. Any bigger and you will have to do a lot of cutting, loose a good 2 to 3 MPG with 33's and and most of your low end torque.

With a 3" lift the tires will be the least of your worries. Its possible you'll need radius arms, trailing arms, and driveshafts. It all depends on what kind of vibrations pop up with the lift.
A 2" lift is much more friendly and you can run 235/85/16's or 265/75/16's with only minor issues like fender trimming and steering stop adjustment.
With a 3" lift you could go 255/85/16's with some trimming.
As far as lowered shock mounts that's a personal thing. You can raise or lower your mounts or just buy shocks that are the right length.

You will need a double cardon shafts and stainless brake lines but unless you fit spacers you should be alright with the stock radius arms. You will have to lose the sway bars though.

Yea you'll either need a double cardon in the front and rear or longer trailing arms like the ones rovertym makes. I went with double cardon front and the rovertym rear with a conventional double joint rear shaft. It also keeps your tires out of the doors and off your sliders... or plastic rockers if you dont have sliders..

I would go 2" and 32" tires unless you're trimming regearing, trimming and throwin on 35's
