Default alarm keeps going off for no reason

So my alarm keeps going off for no reason. I lock it at the drivers door with the key and after much time elapses it starts honking and flashes. It shuts off when i unlock the car at the drivers door. Also when i lock it after the first alarm it will do it again with in ten minutes. There is no glaring reason, no one is around it when it goes off, i do not have a key fob, or the ultrasonic movement sensors. I can also start it with no issues and drive with no issues. The central locking works just fine all the lock tabs go down.

Now the only major thing is the rear sun roof leaked for a couple days, its been fixed. This issue and this issue are at least a day apart.

So what should i be looking for that got wet, quit working or broke?

Oh side note, does the word fob make anyone else laugh? Sometimes right out loud.

Try resetting the alarm, stick the key in the drivers door, lock and unlock 3 times.

And if it continues, you can remove each door switch (one screw) and clean gunk off the inside with small wire brush. Mine was green with corrosion. There is also a switch under the hood, if can't clean it , you can disco-nect.

If it comes back, check each door switch starting with the hood which does go out of adjustment.

So i did the reset and it still went off

I checked the door switches at each door and they all looked and checked out.

I checked the door actuators in the doors, they all worked and checked out.

So all im doing now is holding my key in the lock position to disable the alarm when i lock it.

Did you check hood alarm switch - or just the doors? When you say they looked OK, did you remove them from the door frame and check wiring on the concealed side?

Yes i pulled the panels and looked and they looked dry, crack free, and connected. The hood switch was the same thing. Nothing seems to be working, and now the rear sun roof is leaking again.
