Default camel trophy paint

Been thinking bout this for a while, kicking around doing a sort of camel trophy clone paint job, can spray it myself and Lowes just started carrying their own tintable gloss oil base enamel so basicly like spraying single stage auto paint

I like the sand glow color and it would make us stand out from all the other blue rovers I see

If the same as the other paints they carry guessing around $30 gallon plus tape thinner etc guessing I can do this under $100 which is fine since I am just gonna scratch it up in the trails

Thoughts?

I do mean similar to camel not a total clone truck, paint and some decals chosen from various years for how I want it to look

Love the camel trophy look.
I say go for it if you know you'll get "pine stripes" on it anyway from wheeling the pine barrens.
Scratches really show on the dark blue, not so much on light colors.
DO IT!!!

Just dont get all cheesey with tons of stickers.

My truck is the same blue as yours and it looks like hammered ***... but who cares! I say do whatever tickles your fancy. One day I wanna cut the top off mine and cage it. That probably horrifies most Rover guys!

I was figuring sand glow or as close as I can get, black on the hood, paint spare hubcap sand glow , add as few decals like the American flags, shell gas, couple small trophy decals on the rear side glass, since I am not wanting to do a full on clone I can flip through the camel trucks and pick decals I like

You're going to have a hard time can they match off of a picture? If it makes you feel better I have been kicking around doing the 110 in Tangiers orange with G4 decals
