Question

So how's it handle after almost a year? Did the suspension and sway improve?

Silly question, but are the rear bushings doable without a 20 tonne press (the press is required for the fronts right?)?

Cheers

the only other thing I can think is a bad shock but I have excessive bounce, wonder if the shocks are just to extended to do their job efficient for body roll?

It improved after I removed the rear sway, also adding weight helps since I got HD springs, more weight I add smother the ride, suspension setup and bushings worked perfect at the off road parks

I have a '93 Explorer Sport, 2wd, V6 with a 5-speed. I lifted it 2" with coil spring spacers in the front, and longer spring shackles in the back. Installed longer front shocks and rear air shocks, and put Jeep alloy wheels with 31x10.50-15 AT tires on it.

Also put a 2" lift on my '99 Disco I, with OME springs and longer shocks. Let me tell you, the ride difference between the Explorer and DI is like night and day. The Explorer is bouncy, squeaky, uncomfortable for long trips, etc. The DI, on the other hand, feels like a rock, handles great, and I feel like I could drive it all day long without being any worse for wear.

I guess that's what happens when you have a better platform to start with, and lift it the proper way!

Well, it took a while but all of the bushings were replaced thanks to the amazing service at RovahFarm and my trusted mechanic!

The tippiness, bouncing and rocking are gone! The rover feels solid and smooth when handling at high speeds, low speeds, and cornering... It is a tight ship now!

Thank you to all those that helped and posted
