Default Engine oil capacity for '94 LR Disco?

Is it 6 quarts? Or 8 quarts? I just can't seem to find the answer.

Thank you!

For the OEM size filter it's 5.5 for the sump and .5 for the filter. If you're using something like the Wix 51515 longer filter it's 1 qt for the filter.

Download RAVE, it includes the owners handbook.

Thank you very much!

I have to have 7 quarts to get it full, it leaves a little left but you'll need that to top it off later when it leaks out.

People always seem to prefer the real thing over imitations. Why not take the real dino lube over the fake stuff...

So, good that you are doing an oil change, but what about all the other, possibly even more important fluids like tranny fluid, brake fluid, gear oil for the diffs and t/case and power steering fluid? Is this a new vehicle for you?

Yes, this is a fairly new vehicle for me; I've only had it for a couple of weeks so far.

My boyfriend and I have so far:
Changed out all spark plugs, the distributor cap, ignition rotor, serpentine belt, battery, & alternator
Added engine oil as well as power steering fluid (havent changed them out yet)
Put in the left front door handle (I bought the vehicle without one)

Right now we're in the process of trying to put the door panel back on. It seems a little tricky so far. I'm looking for the little plastic pieces that attach the door panel to the actual door but havent had any luck in finding them yet :/
