exhaust manifold

exhaust manifold
checking fluids the other day and discovered a nice crack in my passenger side exhaust manifold.
Bummer. Oh well. Called up Paul Grant and ordered a new one. (Thanks Paul, it arrived safe and sound)
Ordered new gaskets to the head and pipe as well as some needed replacement nuts/bolts.
Currently soaking the existing bolts in PB blaster.
Any tips on installation? I figure I'd put it all together loosely so that it all lines up, then tighten the head side first, then the exhaust pipe side.
What to use to clean the mating surface on the head? Scotch brite? gas? carb cleaner? brake cleaner? windex? (joking)
And what is the proper torque on the head-side bolts? Rave say 20Nm but that is with the 'old' style lock tabs. I have the 'new' style with the bolt spacer. I've read other figures elsewhere.
Finally, what goes on the bolts into the head? Anti-seize? Or thread locker so they don't become loose?
Thanks in advance for all the help.
