My truck's issue ended up being the battery on it's way out and not recharging well on my 1/2 mile commute.


It eventually started giving me throttle position issues with it jumping up to 3,000rpms in neutral while stepping on the clutch and erratic idle.


Then it started slow cranking until it didn't want to start again.


I threw a trickle charge overnight and it fired up on first crank without any issues.


Looks like I'll need to replace the battery eventually as the temps drop, so I'm having to charge it every two weeks or so when the erratic idle starts or risk being stuck with a dead battery.


So, apparently not fuel related for me.

get a new battery a cheap bastid! or maybe drive the damn thing lol

LOL I'll throw in a red top when I get a chance. It gets driven often, just not very far.

don't waste your money on that optima junk. just get a battery from walmart.
