Default Mass Air Flow Sensor

Hi, wanted to clean my MAF sensor. I took the tube off and am wondering if everyones' looks like this?

I was thinking the circle in the middle of the cross-bar should be a clean opening like on the end with the screen on it, but mine appears to be clogged - or is that how they are supposed to look? Shouldn't there be a clear opening all the way thru that crossbar piece?

Thanks - Paul

Normal, that's how they (ERR5595) look NEW
Just clean it with a good Mass Airflow Sensor Cleaner like CRC 05110 from any Auto Parts Store.
