Default Oxygen sensors

Just put on a y pipe with the cats built in but I'm having a hard time reaching the front oxygen sensor clips to disconnect them( I'm replacing the oxygen sensors too). The clips are on top of the tranny way in the back of the hood. I can see em and touch em but I just can't grab em and disconnect them. Anybody replace these before? I'd love some suggestion. Thanks

may the fleas of a thousand camels infest the armpits of the wizzard engineer that put those connectors on top of the bell housing...

unbolt the ignition coil pack....it's held down with 4 nuts (10mm socket), and set it to one side.....lay a blanket on top of the engine compartment and plant yourself on top of the motor....you can then reach down between the firewall and engine to get the connectors apart.....

in case you ever need to know.....the o2 sensor thread size is 12mm x 1.25
