Default Question about swapping ARB air locker to new D1

I recently bought a new D1 to replace my old, tired, dead one. My old D1 was equipped with front and rear air lockers that I'd like to put into the new one. Can this be a straight swap of differential housings? If I don't have to pull the locker out of the old housing and do a full, from scratch, install into the new differential, I'd like to avoid it. I was thinking I could just pull the front pinion cover off and swap it onto the new D1.

Those that part Rovers, have you ever done this?

Thanks,

Well first off I'm not sure what your referring to as "pinion cover". It's no problem to swap them over, however you need to pull your axle shafts and disconnect the drive shafts. Then pull out the old third members, install the ones with the lockers and reinstall axles add oil and reconnect drive shafts. You will also have to install the compressor, run new air lines and install switches. A TON of people swap thirds in and out, including myself.

There's no drama here. I just did the same thing.
