Look at it this way....the Disco radiator displaces heat from water and oil.....that's two coolers in one! If you buy them separately, they would cost the same (or more) in combination. In retrospect, it would probably cheaper if they were separate.

Anyway, a recore is the best thing to do with these full metal radiators. Less overall waste to the environment. It will work and perform just like or better than new. The new plastic/aluminum ones.....that's a different story. Once the plastic caps start to go, which are not replaceable, you need to buy a whole NEW radiator!

If I ever needed a NEW solid radiator for the Disco....I'd give Griffin another call....

Yeah, another or larger.
If you look at the back side of the OE radiator there's about a 1/4"-1/2" space between the back of the fins and the edge of the frame. The one I just had done fills the frame.

Hot tanked, cleaned and rodded 45 dollars. with rover club discount.

B&B radiator carrollton texas.



Retracting this as they felt my radiator was ruined and needs to be recored for 425.....damn

GAH FFS, does anyone know of a good shop north of atlanta? Only place I have found wants 150 dollars to service rad and thats if I bring it in. They want another 250 +coolant if they have to remove it. sounds insane to me..

$150 to have it rodded and pressure tested sounds about right for the Atlanta area. There's Kell's Radiator Service in Douglasville, but that's the west side.
