I still have the brass one, took it to a rad shop and had it taken apart and cleaned. $75, just like new.

You must live in the South. I had my stock radiator recored back in 2010 and it was $350. Still cheaper than a new stock, but the aluminum ones weren't really around then. Everything up here costs an arm and a leg.

I was able to fold myself up enough to get into the front seat and go for a quick ride down to the park with my Grandson and the wife. He loves those tall slides!! First time I have been in the front seat since my Knee replacement surgery 6 weeks ago! Still love that truck even though it could use a touch more leg room..

Well, Ive had my 98 for two weeks now and today I didn't pop the hood, I didn't check any wiring, or even look at any leaking fluid. I simply started it and took her off the pavement and enjoyed the **** out her with the wife and son

Well...^ that was yesterday, today I guestimate 1 quart of 10w-40 per thousand miles. The flowmaster muffler off my old explorer sounds pretty nice on the disco. And had some codes, misfire #5 and O2 blah blah blah that came on after installing the muffler that I cleared then drove two hundred some miles without it poppin back on. Let's see what tomorrow brings

Yes, with so many rad shops it keeps prices low. I drove to academy sports and picked up my first yeti tundra 65. My lady now hates both my Mandy(rover) and Yolanda the yeti.

The key is to find a way to make her appreciate them, or at least the cooler. When I bought my welder my wife was NOT happy. But I've used it to repair our gas grill and kids trampoline so far. And I NEVER miss a chance to point that out to her.

My wife suggested I buy a lr, I agreed as long as she understood it's gonna take a lot of time and money...I now have a 98 disco, a happy wife, and more wish lists than money

changed out the spark plugs and put on some new 8mm wires. the old plugs looked good but were pretty worn. checked the gap and they came in at .045-.05.

i looked back at my records and realized that the plugs and wires had not been changed for 60,000 miles. noticed an immediate difference in the idle and the acceleration was much smoother. i'll wait and see how it affects fuel mileage.
