Default Which steering damper?

I'm looking to replace my steering damper. Atlantic British offers six different brands. Anyone have a recommendation? I rarely go off road and then only on pretty easy trails. Thanks

I replaced my stock damper with one from Terrafirma and I like it alot. It's made well and doesnt cost a whole lot. I got mine on eBay for $50+ shipping. The OME ones are nice to but pricey.

Got the Terrafirma to mach my springs and shocks and like it fine. Not sure if anyone really thinks one is better than the other for this part. Never saw anyone care much.

Your probably right, they just range from $55 to $115 and I didn't want to cheap out on one that maybe didn't last for someone or pay too much for one that is better for off road use that I don't need.

If you don't off-road you don't even really need one.
The purpose of a steering damper is to prevent shock from being transmitted to the steering wheel when one tire hits something that the other one doesn't.

Or the other end of it, an Old Man Emu is probably the strongest one on the market and will control bad front end shakes when hitting pot holes, train tracks and people crossing the street.
