Thieves be damned!
Some thugs broke into the Rover sitting in the driveway. Problem was I left my keys to everything in the truck. Had to change all the locks and ignition switch on the M3, just not going to take a chance if they come back with bad intentions.
We installed a kill switch on the Disco between the starter and the ignition switch in a unknown place to anyone but me. I can't wait till they come back and try to start it!
I also installed motion sensors all over the property so I will be waiting. Can't print what will happen next. That's called premeditation.

Are you talking about a hard plastic cover, or a vinyl cover?
I took a chance and bought a vinyl tire cover off Ebay this summer ...one of those $16.99 units from China with just the Land Rover logo. While not as thick as the dealer tire cover, it looks and fits really nice, has a draw string. My old one had the dealer info on it with some animal ...can't remember which ..and it was cooler looking overall (when new), but getting beyond scruffy. I think a replacement L/R dealer unit was $150 bucks or so. I debated over it but decided to get the cheap one and see if I can find a dealer one on sale at some point in the future. Anyway, new one arrived just in time for vacation, looks great. Simple detail but really spruced up the rig. Definitely much nicer looking than my old, dried and cracked cover.

Yeah, mine was just a plain black soft cover, the kind with the felt liner from AutoZone or someplace. Cost around $35. My husband just bought it for me for mother's day so it was newish, cant say it was clean, lol. I wouldn't have thought it was worth stealing.
This is the new one I ordered off ebay for around $16 with shipping. It fits great, rig felt naked without one.
