Default throttle position sensor screws/bolts

Anyone know where I can source a couple screws for my TPS? I mangled the heads of mine pretty good when I took them out the other day.

I think they have torx heads and have a superfine thread so not a screw that is easily found at a hardware or parts place i wouldn't think.

Done that a few times! The bolts are nothing special and if you have a hardware store or a place like Fastenal near you just get a M4x1.0-14 bolt. And to be sure just bring a bolt with you and check the thread pitch/length. I've had a few be 20mm length (it's a Rover ). And the head doesn't need to be torx. Also grab (2) M4 flat washers.

The OE part # is SC104141L (LR calls this a screw) and if you want to order it Go NutZ!> SCREW M4 x 14mm, RNI741, SC104141L - Rovers North - Classic Land Rover Parts

I'm going to make a guess based on the torque value required.
4mm with a pitch of 0.7. A good hardware store should have something.
Now granted, I am just guessing without taking mine apart.

Thank you again for the help.

The one on the right I had to dremel slots into the head and use a slotted screwdriver to get it out - that one was tough but not as bad as the other. After getting the first one out, I ended up just removing the head of the second one and sliding the sensor off. Once the sensor was off, I could grab what was left of the screw with a vice grips to get it unscrewed. it was locked in there so tight that I could see the shaft twisting a bit as I was torquing on it with the vice grips.

Ended up getting a couple at Menards. $.59 each.

Made sure to put some anti-sieze on the threads this time.

I did the same thing to mine when I removed them. They are tight and the torx doesn't really cut it when trying to loosen them. I went to Fastenal and they had the right ones. Also I put Loctite on them when I replaced them.

Home Depot sells hex head which I preferred. Fit fine. They're in the pull out drawers.
