what size lug wrench for covered nuts?
Unfortunately I didn't get an OEM lug wrench with the D1, and I don't want to remove all the covers and use a 26mm, but what size socket do you use for the covered lug nuts?
1-1/16" and 27mm will start but don't go on far enough, and 28mm and 1-1/8" are too sloppy. What the heck do you guys use?

I used a 28mm socket and a 6 foot cheater bar on my 1/2" breaker bar to break them loose. After wire brushing and anti-seize they went back on easily. I guess I'll just carry the 28mm and breaker bar plus a 26mm for the spare and the one wheel with all capless nuts.
BTW, why does the owner's manual say not to use the spare tire nuts on the road wheels? I think I may have one spare nut; are they covered with a little bump in the center? I have it on one road wheel and painted some capless nuts for the spare.
