Default Rear hub source?

My right rear hub is bad. I am pretty confused on where to get one.

Average USED price US $100
Average NEW price US $350

Average USED price UK $50
Average NEW price UK $100

I'm iffy on getting a used one, but i don't think they fail often. I feel like aftermarket new is better than genuine used.

Trouble is all the UK sellers either don't ship to the US or it costs nearly 100 dollars.

that is still a better deal, but I was wondering if anyone had a source for rear hubs.

thanks!

Just ordered one domestically but if you can wait a few days you can get one from British Parts UK. They quoted me a shipping cost much less than $100. The total price was going to be around $170 delivered. In the States, BP Utah seems to have the best price but their shipping charges are steep. I haggled with another source and got the hub, o-ring and a set of guide pins (of which I only needed 1 but am now be the proud owner of 4) for $400 delivered.

Or, order from ----> Wheel Hub Bearing For Land Rover Dicovery 2 Tay100050 - Buy Wheel Hub Bearing,Dicovery 2,Tay100050 Product on Alibaba.com

Which is what some vendors do, pumping ~5x the price.
A group purchase may work.

yeah the cheapest I found for a new one was around 160 shipped. Which is still a great deal compared to the price of a new on in the states. It is aggravating though that the actual hub costs less than 100 bucks.

I just don't understand why it costs 75 dollars to ship. I know it has some weight to it but I have shipped stuff from europe and japan that weighed more before for only 30 or 40 dollars
