Default 2004 Discovery fan blower will not work

The fan blower will not work. The unit is stuck in Celcius and the seat heaters will not work. Could be a fuse but I can't locate. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Print this page and stick it in your glove box.

Your blower motor is probally bad. This is a semi-common problem.

Mine ended up being a dirty connection at the blower fan. Dive under the dash on the pass. side and remove the cardboard like finisher. This will reveal the blower fan and its connection. Put your climate control on such a way that the fan should be blowing, and play with the connection. If the fan comes on, you found the problem. Unplug, clean and use dielectric grease to assure that connection doesn't become dirty and dry again.

Do you have an owners manual, if so it is time to read it, all your question can be answered there.

Unfortunatelymy wife has misplaced the owners mannual. However, due to this forum I was able to fix the celcius problem. I will go under the dash this weekend and check out the motor and possibly a relay. Still can't figure out the seats.

Thanks for all the input.

Fuse is good. Pulled the motor out and hooked to battery runs great. Put it back in and ran a few minutes and quit. Pulled it out and cleaned the motor up good and brushes look great. Out it back on battery and runs good. Put it back in and no go. Ued test light and not getting any power.

Any help please.

THANKS!!!

Ordered and replaced the fan blower relay. Did not help. Totally lost now. Motor works when wired direct. Could it be a bad witch somewhere. Fuse is good.

Put a new relay in this weekend. No help. Motor will only run with direct wiring. is there a switch that goes bad?
