Post Buying U-Joint for Disco II

Looking at Roversnorth for a U-joint and it says for a Range Rover, however I am just going to assume that it is a shared part correct?

LAND ROVER PARTS - U JOINT - PROPELLER SHAFT RANGE ROVER

Thanks,

see Propshaft Rebuild - Land Rover Forums - Land Rover Enthusiast Forum for info on drive shaft and U joints, they are available and lots of parts stores, pretty common, I think mine came from Advance Auto.

How many miles on your truck, how many u-joints did you buy, what brand and are they U.S. made? Did you buy a new centering ball and have you ever rebuilt a double cardon shaft before?

I picked up 2 Duralast U Joints (but now that I think of it I am ashamed to admit I didn't look at the country of origin) and had to order the centering ball.

I have never rebuilt a double carbon shaft before however growing up I helped my dad rebuild a 109 Series 2 from the Chassis up. With the Propshaft Rebuild and the RAVE I should be able to work through it. All be it at a slow pace, plus I'll be doing at the rents house because my dad has a full machine shop and garage out back and I love to have any reason to use it.

I'd like to add that the whole reason he has that shop is to work on his two Series Land Rovers, we plan on swapping out the diff's on the 88' so I think I'll take photos and maybe do a write up for you guys to review.
