Cool Checklist

I am a new member and a WannaRover, for several years i have been drooling at the Disco II's. I have recently found an 01 SE with 128K for 3900. It does have the three amigo issue, AND brake light. Is this 3 amigo fix a serious issue? Are these systems performance effected while these lights are on? Does someone have a checklist for me to view when i go to look at this truck? I own several SAABs including 2 classic 900 Turbos, and am accustomed to maintaining a "qwerky" vehicle, just don't want to bite off more than i can chew. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Default Welcome

Best advice is to have an independent inspection performed on the truck, speed- read the stickies and forum on issues associated with the particular model, and post any questions here prior to a final purchase. I'm far from an expert, but I think other members will largely concur. Another recommendation - don't get in a hurry to purchase the "perfect" Rover - there are apparently a number of them out there and the right one will come along. Also, it pays to be pretty handy, as they have some issues and quirks which are best handled (economically) by the owner, preferably as preventive maintenance.

Good luck!
