Default Coil Pack replacement?

Hi gang, just want to double check myself here. My '03 disco is running really rough. Having already replaced the plugs and wires with no improvement, I borrowed a code reader. Codes say that 2, 3, 8, and 5 are misfiring. I'm thinking bad coil. Any other possibilities?

Yes, your passenger side coil failed, replace them both. Whos plugs and wires did you use?

Thanks for the confirmation. Unfortunately, I didn't do any research before I bought plugs and wires. I bought whatever they had at the local parts store. I guess I'll be doing that again soon.

Here are some photos from a recent coil pack replacement my son and his buddy (high school seniors) did for me. It took about 2 hours total. Get a new coil pack, intake manifold gasket and I recommend you do the head cover gaskets at the same time.

Arm and hammer, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
  1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?

This is all I see.

Default upper intake removal?

I'm trying to replace the coil pack in my 2K DII. Does anyone know a way to do it without having to remove the upper intake manifold? As far as i can tell it's pretty much locked in there and no way to get it out without doing that. Also, if I do have to remove the upper intake, what's all intailed to that. Is it just a matter of removing the bolts, lifting it, replace the gasket and tighten the bolts. Do they have to be torqued?
