Default Do me a favor and check your jack! NOW!

I know its been posteed many times, and we've all been meaning to do it, but just got snagged today. Tried to get the front tire off the ground and Murphy's Law had other plans...Had to jog home- leaving the truck in a Subway parking lot, get DD and was off to Northern Tool for a brand new one, then jog back to truck for the tire change. Fortunately, i was only 1 mile from home. You've been warned!

Mine work fine, until I need it. Then it's minus 40 degrees and it doesn't work at all.

Yep, Checked mine, looks good in its cradle. Lets hope I don't need to use it as my wife sells all the good ones. I think she strips parts off my car while I am sleeping and replaces them with broken ones, then makes me go to her Ebay store to buy them back!

The jacks (made in Italy) NEVER worked, since new..........I had 3 and they all leaked, perhaps is my luck. I like Land Rovers because they are the same way I like girls. Tall, slim, expensive, complicated and have a lots of issues, never perform they way I expected but whenever they do take me places that I only dream off......LOL

Ditched mine a long time ago and replaced it with a Hi-Lift, but with a 2" lift and bigger tires that small bottle jack wouldn't have done me any good anyhow.

My stock bottle jack is confirmed non-operational. My hi lift works, but it's of limited use with a stock rear bumper and just the steel bumper support up front. It's helped me on the trail, but I'm not sure it would help me change a flat...

they are all junk with the exception of one from a P-38, which are stored in the back and not under the hood
