Ah yes. Anti clockwise.

Practically, it's making the rod longer. So it does what it does, sooner.

Nice little, satisfying job.

I'll be looking for the equivalent in the tailgate once my part arrives. I imagine there will be something similar.

I just did this repair, and I'd like to thank the guys who contributed to this thread. I would never have figured out how to move that clip out of the way...and would've definitely broken it trying to move it.

I'll do my best to repay the favor to the forum!

THANKS AGAIN!!!

-George :-)

That clip was a pain. I scratched my head for a long time looking at that.

Best thing is, that there is adjustment, and it's not nesaccary to buy new bits, just cos the door parts are old.

Thanks GR for posting in this, otherwise I would have never known how to fix the issue. Mine only opens if I jam the key against the tumbler when unlocking. The worst part, it only happens when the door panel is on. So when I fix it, I'll have to reinstall the panel each time I test it....

Thanks cappedup, between your photos and The HUESTER's video, you made a confusing repair possible! It's definitely nice to be able to fix something like this with just an adjustment.....one that costs nothing more than our time!

Good luck RedRovin'!
