That being said, I would have at least expect the single fan shroud to cover the dam radiator. But it doesnt.

They called me--I ordered the dual fans--and said that the single fan has greater cfm, so I 'upgraded' for no cost. Before I agreed I checked the mfr website and the single fan does have greater cfm and less amps (by 2 amps, I think). Also, on their FAQ, it says the shroud should not cover the whole radiator to allow air to easily go around the shroud at higher speeds.

DID I SCREW UP?!

i really think the shroud should cover the whole radiator, if not at low speed/stopped the fan will not pull air across the whole radiator. jmho

Well since the single fan is supposed to be an upgrade I think ill just use it for now and see how thing turn out. Honestly right now anything would be better than the clutch fan full shroud or not.

That shroud coverage looks very poor, especially left/right.

it look like 20% of the rad is not going to get air at idle or a stop.

I wanted to buy a set up, so I messaged them. Here is the response:

"ffd changed up there systems on a few vehicles this year and land rover was one of them, the older system was a two fan and the 2015 systems are single fan. it had to do with geting more air thrlough the radiator at highway speeds so they went to smaller shrouds. you can email ffd and see if they have or can build you the older system but we only have the newer ones in stock now."
