Engine Knock When Warm

Hey guys just to follow up. Got a call from the dealer - apprently they don't think its my sleeve. According to them not enough oil is getting to the rear left top of the engine and thats why it knocks. They said the oil pump is ok and the only solution is to replace the engine - $12k. Sounds pretty unreasonable to me. Any suggestions?

Also consider used engine swap. And there have been posts about DIY bolting the liner.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but that knocking is a loose sleeve.
You can go order a new front cover oil pump assembly and pop that on but you be right back here.
I changed oil and filter, then went with new front cover, lifters, cam which we found had some wear, also found that heads had been redone recently. Fired her up as soon as she warmed up KNOCK KNOCK.
Pulled engine had the flanged liners put in along with rings, valve seats, Kent cam, ARP stud bolts. During inspection found that "B" pistons were in place. So assume that engine had been completly rebuilt maybe except for the cam. Have had her on the road now for almost 2 months. Engine runs great just dealing with engine code.
As they say it's always something. 127K
I do love her!
