Default Engine Stalling

I have a 2000 Discovery II with approximately 160,000 miles. I had the head gaskets replaced approximately a year and a half ago and replaced the front drive shaft and shocks a few weeks ago.

The engine now stalls randomly. It typically stalls when making turns at a moderate speed and occasionally when sitting stll and idling. It restarts immediately. When the engine is shut down there is a gas odor in the air. I have replaced the crankshaft position sensor and the inertia switch, but they did not resolve the issue. I can hear the fuel pump engage when the key is turned. I am not sure what else could be causing the issue.

Sorry for rambling, any help anyone could offer would be greatly appreciated.

You need to quit guessing, all you are doing is wasting money.
Do you get a check engine light, if so what are the 4 digit fault code numbers?

You need to diagnose this properly. Is the SES light on? If so any codes?

Then move one to the basics, check for spark, fuel, and compression. Check out http://realfixesrealfast.com or ericthecarguy.com for some basics. If you cannot do this take it to a garage so they can diagnose the issue. The tools to diagnose issues like this can be pricey (like an oscilloscope).

sounds like you have either developed a vacum leak or your idle air control motor is going bad anyhow u need to get the codes scanned before you begin replacing things

Sorry for the late followup. Finally had some time off to check on the codes. I have the following error codes: P1884, P1590, P0174, P0171, P0103, P0112. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

and you triple checked for a vaccum leak correct? all your hoses are connected no loose clamps anywhere? they used new head bolts when doing the gaskets?

Could it be the vaccum line to the EVAP?

Fuel filter would be hard to evaluate on a D2, as it is built into the fuel pump assembly.
