Hello,

I've got some frame rust and need some repairs for my safety inspection - any advice as I look for someone to complete the work?

Photos attached in .pdf

Thanks!

though mine is not that bad yet im dealing with the same issue except my rust holes are near the front passenger cat and near the center muffler. The rear end seems intact for now. What I think you should do is weigh out your options and decide what option makes sense for you. First figure out how much you like this truck. Next figure out how much money and parts you have already invested in this truck. If you just got the truck and you have not invested to much then you could quite while your ahead, sell it or part it out then buy a rust free D2 and get it undercoated. Anoter option is to consider buying a second D2, switch over all the good parts from this truck to the new truck and then sell this rusted truck. Finally you could keep this truck, get the extensive repairs done or buy a used rolling chassis from another D2 and swap over the body from this truck to the rolling chassis.

Good luck.

Honestly with as cheap as D2 are these days, I'd kick dirt over that and just get a new one. Take your KM gauge cluster out for later use, and go to Dallas or someplace with less salt and get a replacement Disco.
