Default G4 questions

I was recently buying some parts for my discovery when a question about which trim package mine had. I did not know, and to make a long story short, two sources have told me that my Discovery is a G4 and that since it is yellow (borrengo yellow) it is very rare. How do I find out more? Is it that rare? Should I stop off-roading in it? I bought it as a camping vehicle.

if it's a genuine G4 just sell it PDQ and bank the cash, some loons pay mental money for G4's, if you want to find out the provenance check with LR NAS giving the chassis/VIN and engine numbers and they can confirm it instantly. Good luck, PM me if you need someone to help you spend the cash

And that one is cheap albeit on a UK plate and quoted in GBP£££ so in USD $$$ that's c$11,600 and it's a TD5 and not a V8 which sells far cheaper in the UK and europe.

but people will pay crazy money for them, especially where yours in not the average tangerine, it may bring you a premium.

Check the VIN with LandRover - that will tell you what you have
I have only seen Orange G4s. If yours is a G4 it is very rare. Only 200 made

There was a Kalahari Edition that was yellow but it was a 2002. Only 150 made

Those are for protecting the hood and windshield from tree branches.

You should throw up some pictures of this alleged yellow G4 for us. I think we're all very interested.
