Default Help reading live data on my new ODBII scanner.

Hi everybody. Fresh off the victory of a crazy battle with a front propshaft and ready for the next thing. I have really drank the kool-aid but it tastes so good.

I have been getting P0171 and P0174 codes for a while now. Lean on both banks. I am finished with Mike's 60K service complete with 8mm Magnacors and Bosch Plat 4's so it looks like it's going to be the MAF or the o2's.

As most of you know, I am pretty broke. In an effort not to guess about these rather expensive sensors, I got an Actron CP9145 OBDII scanner that is capable of reading live data. I think I got a good deal on it to:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...ss_T15_product

So here's the question. I can see the voltages coming off the MAF and all four sensors but I have no clue what I am looking at. The voltages jump all over the place. I think they are supposed to stay in certain ranges but I don't know what they are. Do any of you know the ranges and/or anybody know of a link to a page that will help me understand this info? The book that came with the scanner blows.

Thanks in advance.

2001 Disco II, 102K, Mile's 60K service complete, Mobile 1 full syn, Magnacor 8mm, Bosch Plat 4's, Rebuilt front propshaft w/Precision U's & ball.

They are supposed to jump all over the place. When they don't jump that means they are dead and you get a sensor code.

What are your thoughts on the Actron CP9145? $89 seems like a smoking deal if it does all that it is supposed to do. Has anyone else used it? Thanks Phil

I think it does all it says. I know it reads and erases codes for sure. I know I am seeing live data as I drive but I don't know what it means yet (hense this post). Not sure if it does freeze frame and stuff but I'm working on that as well. I will let you know as soon as I figure it out ljdiscovery.

Hi Mike. I have the Rave. Could you please tell me what section to look under? I'm not finding it.
