Default I-70/CO/UT/NV Road Trip - Inde Shop Recommendations Just In Case?

I'm making the haul from OH to Canyonlands, UT (and running over to Las Vegas for a few nights). This is my first road trip with this Disco II—she's had all her high mileage service and is well maintained, but you just never know.

I'd love to have a few recommendations for independent shops specializing in Land Rovers along this route that are known for their good work. Even if it's 100 miles off the path, if I get into trouble, paying the tow bill is much preferable to the closest garage that doesn't know jack about my truck.

The area covered is basically anywhere along I-70 from OH to UT and I-15 down to Las Vegas. This includes: Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, but more importantly, Colorado, Utah and the Las Vegas area.

Anybody know a guy? Thanks for any help you can provide!

The shop in Las Vegas that works on my D2 is AutoTech4Less. Victor is at 702-451-5161. He works on a lot of RR and Discos. Best of luck with your trip and let us know how it goes.

Thanks dgi! That's a really cool concept, and I'm checking it out now. I hope the initiation isn't too painful.

Hope you make it past Indiana but PT Scram about 1.5 hours north of Indy is known for Rovers repairs. May not be a fast fix but he is good.
P. T. Schram Rover Repair, Indiana's Finest Land Rover repair service

Here in Denver:
JC's Britsh I have not used them myself but have heard good service from a P38 owner. Not cheap but reliable. They do keep bankers hours and are closed Sat and Sunday. Must be nice to work in the service industry and have those hours.

Thanks boss and broken, that's where I'm at right now :/

O2 sensor started giving me fits on the drive out and gas mileage was way below even my low expectations. Replaced it once on my own thanks to the 1-year warranty and the new one was promptly made a victim by whatever claimed the first. I'm about to find out what and I hope they can fix it and get me back on the road today.

JC's seems like a pretty put-together outfit. Hopefully that doesn't mean $$$$.

On a side note: broken, do you have a set of sand ladders to loan or rent? Or can you recommend a place in Denver to pick up a set? The forecast in Canyonlands turned wet.
