IACV Idle Air Control Valve (Stepper Motor)
Just figured out another bit of useful information I thought I'd pass along. The AC Delco part number for the IACV-Stepper Motors on '94 & '95 -DI's is:
AC Delco #217-437
The average price new at shucks & NAPA is $42 (vs $190 from Atlantic British). Even better news is that this was the most common IACV used on GM V8 & V6 trucks & vans from 1989-1996. You can goto the AC Delco website and do a search by the partnumber, and it'll give ya every GM vehicle it was installed on (hundreds of models). Before making the order from NAPA, I decided to stop by my local self service wrecker today. Damn near every 90's GM truck & van with a V6 or V8 had this stepper motor. I grabbed the two cleanest looking ones I could find after walking around for 10 minutes and took em to the register. they charged me $3 each. Went out in the parking lot, unscrewed my malfunctioning unit, screwed in one of the used units - and voila, no more erratic idle. Works PERFECTLY, for $3 !

Unfortunately the IACV on '96 - '99 is different. It's a different mount and plug. I'm extremely good at research, so if someone could give me something as simple as the model number stamped on the side of their IACV from a '96-'99, I should be able .to track down the manufacturer of origin, and each of the car makes they sold it to. Then it's just a matter of tracking down the "cheapest" brand name plate. There is so much cross usage of electronic components in the auto industry that the same part will be installed on a lesser nameplate and sold cheaper as a replacement part. Cross referencing parts numbers has saved me thousands in unnecessary BMW, Porshe, & Mercedes parts premiums over the years...
'96 - '99 IACV
I'm quite confident that the '96 - '99 IACV is also an AC Delco part since the mount and connector are the same as this AC Delco unit below. I just need someone to read me the Land Rover model/part number on the side of their IACV and I'll be able to find the exact new unit, as well as the respective years and GM vehicles it was installed on.

Yours in on the back of the "U" shaped hose going from your air box to the engine.

Hi. I'm new here.
At my country the IAC is $260 from land rover dealers
I have a 95 Discovery and the stepper looks like the second one at the pictures (I checked). Please, would you confirm that this is the option for my Disco?
Besides, have you some information, for the oxigen sensors (Here they are $250 each)?
I would be extremely grateful.
Thanks.
