Default Loose wire on connector

My SRS light has been on and digging around I saw that the connector under the driver's seat has a wire that has come out from the male part of the connector. See pic. I'm not sure if this was loose before or after I undid the connector. Anyhow, I'm wondering how I would go about repairing this? I'm a newbie to electrical wiring, but mechanical in nature.

look at the plug, from top to bottom, I would guess that there is some sort of pin or prong on the metel part of the conector that is holding it into the plastic housing, if so take a pin fold down the prong and the metal pice should come out, take the broken pice of wire out and solder the end pice back on fold the prong back up and push the pice back into the plastic housing. If not cut both wires off and use a male and female spade conector, then good as new, or you can solder the wires together w/out a conector, which is the easyest way for now, which will kick u in the *** later if you have to replace the part down the road.
