Can anyone who has the new BFG AT KO2 version please comment on the road noise? How do they sound bombing down the freeway at say 65 - 75 mph? Do they handle well in any wet stuff? I'm tempted because I like the look of the new K02 a lot, and will need tires soon. Thanks for sharing all the pics, the size of the 255/70r18 look great; not any wider, just taller. That's perfect for an expedition type rig.

I actually like BFG tires and have a set of 33x10.5 BFG KM2's on my Jeep for offroading, but I was concerned when BFG AT KO (original version) had such a poor showing in that Overland magazine shootout they did with all the AT tires two summers ago. Did they change enough on the KO2 version that it can keep up with the more modern tires now?

I just put the KO2's on both my Disco II and My F-250. Night and day compared to the old tires on the Disco. Rides smoother than the Bridgestone Alenza's that were on it. No difference in road noise. They are much quieter than the tread would lead you to believe. My wife actually loves the way it goes around corners now. Mileage is slightly better if anything. I have a couple thousand miles on both sets and I love them. I cannot think of a negative.

Thanks for the report! Really sounds great. Now I won't be afraid to look at them when we decide which tires soon. They are definitely on the short list.

I've put on 3 different sets. 3 different Rovers. 3 different sizes. They have next to zero additional road noise than the one road tires they replaced. Very very quiet for an all terrain. Outstanding tire.

I was pretty disappointed with these tires this past weekend. They performed very poorly on mud and wet rock. Not unlike their predecessor.
