Yeah - the pulley bolt is a pain - best use a good air-impact for it. My 600 ft-lb Ingersoll-Rand barely took it off - it was strugguling to loosen it for a couple seconds. Consider that your lug nuts are usually under 100 ft-lb... I did this with an engine that was out of the car, so access wasn't an issue either. Before I had an air-compressor and air tools, I would drive down the street to a shop to have them loosen bolts like that.

So my car is a v8i 4.0 would the key cause the same issue on that motor... I dropped it off at a mechanic and he told me the wobble isn't enough to be an issue and most of the discos he has seen have a little wobble to the crank pulley... ???
